Game-Changing Solar EV Charger Slashes Energy Waste by Up to 20%

Enteligent Launches Pre-Orders for the World’s First Solar DC-to-DC EV Charger, Slashing Energy Loss by 20%

Startup Enteligent is revolutionizing the world of EV charging with its TLCEV T1, a cutting-edge solar DC-to-DC electric vehicle charger. Unlike traditional charging systems that convert solar-generated DC power to AC before switching back to DC—wasting energy along the way—this innovative unit bypasses those inefficiencies. By delivering solar power directly to an EV’s battery, it reduces energy losses by up to 20%, making it one of the most efficient solar EV charging solutions available today.

How It Works

The TLCEV T1 connects directly to one or two solar inputs, handling voltages between 340V and 600V at a max of 20A, with a 12.5 kW power output flowing straight into the vehicle’s battery. No inverter is required, although the charger can integrate into existing solar setups.

Functioning similarly to public DC fast chargers, this system offers a sustainable twist—it operates primarily during daylight hours, harnessing the sun’s power without the need for grid dependency. However, Enteligent’s charger is also compatible with DC battery backup systems, allowing users to charge their EVs even when the sun isn’t shining.

Seamless Integration & Flexible Charging Options

Out of the box, the TLCEV T1 comes equipped with a CCS1 adapter, with CCS2 and NACS options available. For homes already equipped with an inverter, Enteligent has made integration easy by incorporating a dual-throw switch, allowing users to redirect solar power between the charger and the inverter as needed.

For those without an inverter, this charger provides a hassle-free, direct solar-to-EV charging solution, potentially reducing permitting hurdles since it doesn’t require solar panels to be connected to the grid.

Pricing & Availability

Enteligent is now accepting pre-orders, requiring a refundable $250 deposit. Early adopters can secure the TLCEV T1 at a discounted price, before the cost increases once production scales. However, the company has yet to announce an exact shipping date.

Future Innovations & Expanding EV Charging Solutions

Enteligent recently secured $6 million in funding and is already making waves in the industry. The company has signed a deal to provide a 25 kW bidirectional DC-to-DC charger to a major logistics firm, which will use it to charge electric delivery vehicles.

With a commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability, Enteligent is paving the way for the future of EV charging—where solar power meets seamless, loss-free energy transfer. This innovative solution is set to transform the way electric vehicles are powered, making clean energy more accessible, efficient, and cost-effective than ever before. 🌞⚡🚗
